Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Ghost Calls ("the App", "we", "us") collects, how it's used, and your choices. Ghost Calls is built to collect as little as possible: there's no account creation, no user-submitted content, and no analytics or advertising SDKs.

Information we don't collect

Ghost Calls does not require you to create an account. We don't collect your name, email address, or contact information directly, and we don't have access to your device's contacts, photos, location, or microphone.

Information collected on your device only

The following stays on your device and is never sent to us or any third party:

• Your favorited stories
• Your listening history
• Narration voice and speed preferences
• Whether you've completed onboarding

This data is stored using your device's local storage. Uninstalling the app deletes it. Deleting the app also removes it — we have no copy anywhere else.

Information collected by third-party services

Two third-party services process limited data on our behalf:

• RevenueCat (subscription management): When you start a free trial or subscribe, RevenueCat receives your App Store transaction data (purchase receipts, subscription status, renewal dates) and a device-generated anonymous identifier, in order to verify your entitlement to premium content. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email, or payment details — those are handled entirely by Apple. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
• Supabase (content storage): The app fetches story text from our Supabase database. These requests don't include any personal identifiers — they're anonymous reads of public content. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.
• Apple (App Store / StoreKit): All payment processing is handled by Apple. We never see or store your payment card details. See Apple's Privacy Policy.

Narration

Story narration happens entirely on your device using Apple's built-in text-to-speech engine. No audio is recorded, streamed, or sent to any server.

Children's privacy

Ghost Calls contains horror-themed content intended for a mature audience aged 18 and older, and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
